One thing of note; the signature is less than half the size of a dime, so that it's best read when the lenses pass over it. Painting my signature that small gave me some wicked vertigo!
purely awesome! you obviously cast these parts, and then propably do some machining on them, but what kind of techniques do you use on the casts? I mean how do you make the casting molds etc?
Actually, there isn't any casting on this piece. Everything is cut from plate with a piercing saw, and then ground to shape with a rotary grinder. If you look in my gallery, you'll see a couple of entries that are called "Quartz 15 in progress". Those show the clock cut out and assembled, but not contoured.
