This is the most elaborate of all the motorized pieces I've done thus far. There was a lot of metal to cut, and the dial was more involved. The screws around the rim of the dial are so tightly inlaid that before I varied the color, they blended right in. In addition, I disassembled the motor and replaced the center pin with a nice solid brass one. This allowed me to more securely fasten the long custom hands I like to use.
Outstanding!!!! Are the tendrils cast or formed?
Everything is cut from thick plate, and then carved with a rotary tool.
this is totally awesome r u going to sell it?
I am in love with this piece! I adore its shape and colour, and wouldnt you know it, its not only pretty but useful too!!
It's not often that you do creation in long instead of in height. Really great
